Good Afternoon!
This morning a friend asked to read the book, “sunshine” because it has a sunshine on the cover. The book is titled May There Always Be Sunshine!, by Jim Gill. We read that book, along with a variety of teacher books.
Miss Bekah then went into the kitchen to make the rice for lunch. Emily asked, “can I watch you?” So all the friends came into the kitchen and sat at the table to watch Miss Bekah add the rice, water and different spices to our rice before she placed the pot in the rice cooker.
We then engaged our fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills with the color shape stackers and object permanence boxes.
We then headed outside to play.
Breakfast: Corn Chex/Brown Sugar Oatmeal Squares cereal and fresh pears.
Lunch: Whole grain brown rice with shredded turkey, watermelon and peas/carrots.
Afternoon Snack: Ritz crackers with peanut butter and apples.
Wee Sprouts: Red bell peppers.
Have a great evening!
Rebekah
