Good Afternoon!
It was one of those days where a child lead idea takes over the whole morning! A friend at the art table was talking about Halloween and wanting to make a mask. He was struggling a bit as he bored a hole in his paper for one eye. We talked and figured out some materials we could use to make a mask that he could wear. After that, everyone wanted to make a mask! The creativity was amazing and the kids all enjoyed wearing them and engaging in imaginative play with the masks throughout the classroom! We had a wide variety of themes including a pumpkin, a rainbow with horns, a witch king, a dinosaur and a unicorn.
Breakfast– Brown rice cakes with peanut butter and fresh pears.
Lunch– Homemade chicken avocado salad on whole wheat bread, fresh pears/pineapple/banana, and fresh cucumber/pepper/broccoli.
PM snack– Goldfish and block cheddar cheese.
Wee Sprout– Fresh cucumber/pepper/broccoli.
Have a wonderful weekend!
