Good afternoon!

This morning several kids asked to work on their bean journals.  They noticed the beans they planted have continued growing.  Many of the kids found the beans had both roots and stems.  One friend shared that he thought his bean with its stem looked like a “Plesiosaur”, which is a long necked swimming dinosaur:) …It did look like one.

It was a beautiful day so we spent lots of time outdoors getting exercise!

PREK2: During group we spent some time talking about weather.  We read “All the World”.  As we read, we noticed the weather in each illustration.  At the end of group we talked about what the weather was like while we were outside today.  We made a class list of all the things we noticed about the weather this morning. 

Breakfast: Over night oatmeal with cinnamon and fresh pears

Lunch: Farm fresh scrambled eggs with cheese, whole wheat tortilla, fresh papaya/banana/clementines and fresh peppers/cucumbers

PM Snack: Humus with tortilla chips

Wee Sprouts: Fresh peppers/cucumbers
