Good Afternoon!

Everyone had such a fun time on our indoor obstacle course that children in PREK1 group wrote their name under their favorite movement from the obstacle course. We loved challenging our bodies and talking about our favorite movement!

Science K.3.2 Investigate that things move in different ways, such as fast, slow, etc.

This morning, we put together an obstacle course based on the sense that kids needed some exercise on this rainy morning!  We added cards to the course that asked kids to try different movements as they went through it.  They tried tip-toeing and marching on the balance beam, bouncing on the trampoline, fluttering as they hopped stepping stones and wiggling as they balanced on the wiggly tape.  They had a great time and got a wide range of balance and gross motor practice.

Breakfast: Overnight oatmeal with cinnamon and fresh pears.

Lunch: Farm fresh scrambled egg cups with cheese, fresh apple oat muffins, fresh pineapple/apple slices and fresh cucumbers/green beans.

PM Snack: Hummus with tortilla chips.

Wee Sprouts: Fresh peppers/cucumbers.
