Happy Friday!

Kids enjoyed exploring two types of pastels in the art center this morning.  They got to compare chalk and oil pastels to see how the materials differed.  Kids preferred the chalk pastels because they loved the smearing/blending aspects of the media.  We love offering varied art materials because it tends to interest kids who don’t normally want to engage with the art center.  This way they are drawn to expand their horizons 🙂 .

Breakfast: Brown rice cakes with cream cheese and fresh banana.

Lunch: Cheese quesadillas on whole wheat tortilla, fresh watermelon/banana and fresh carrots/cucumbers.

PM Snack: Goldfish and string cheese.

Wee Sprouts: Fresh carrots/cucumbers.
