Happy Monday!
**Reminder: Wee Friends is closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day.
A few different sensory activities were available this morning. Friends quickly asked for the sensory bin to be open after breakfast. Children used various measuring cups to pack kinetic sand into the cups and make towers.
A younger child asked for water in the tuff tray so we got out the tuff tray, filled it with water, and a variety of sorting materials. Children utilized the sorting trays by placing gems into the compartments.
Outside, children were eager to water the garden and use the water pumps placed throughout the backyard. We got a hefty green bean harvest that we enjoyed later on in the afternoon.

Breakfast– Whole wheat toast with peanut butter and fresh pineapple.
Lunch– Whole wheat pasta with black beans and chicken, fresh banana/pear/nectarine, and fresh cherry tomatoes/cucumber/pepper.
PM snack– Whole milk yogurt with graham crackers.
Wee Sprout– Fresh pepper/cucumber.
