Good Afternoon!
We had a spontaneous geography lesson this morning as kids talked about classmates who were away on trips. We talked about places friends had gone inside the country but in different states. Next, we talked about places outside the country. We noted that one friend was on the continent of Europe while the other was on the continent of South America.
A friend asked if we could explore a water activity in the tuff tray this morning. We talked as a group about what to do with the water. Several kids were in agreement that color mixing would be an activity they would want to engage with. We try to listen to requests and ideas that kids have about activities as often as we can.
We also enjoyed our dish soap and corn starch dough we made last week. The kids cut out shapes or rolled it into “pizza dough”.

Breakfast: Kix cereal with fresh watermelon.
Lunch: Brown rice with shredded pork, fresh cantaloupe/pears and fresh cucumbers/snap peas.
PM Snack: Whole wheat crackers with peanut butter/raisins/pumpkin seeds.
Wee Sprouts: Fresh peppers/snap peas.
