Happy Friday!

We had quite the Friday! An older friend enjoyed her last day at Wee Friends before heading off to kindergarten as she chose what projected she wanted to do today: a large canvas painting! She started off by choosing the colors she wanted to use and slowly throughout the morning, every kiddo got the opportunity to make a painting as well! Children enjoyed using a large space and creating a multi step painting! After adding a base color to the canvas, they used squeeze bottles with paint to add an interesting dynamic to their painting!

Two friends were occupying the light table as they built with magnatiles and small green plastic balls . They made a popcorn machine and popped popcorn aka the green balls. Interest was peaked with this activity so we offered another space where children could build with magnatiles in a different way. We incorporated bells into the circle table activity and it inevitably started friends reminiscing about the holidays. We EVEN heard a few Christmas songs being sung and versions of the North Pole being built  .

Lunch– Homemade english muffins pizzas, fresh kiwi/pear/peaches, and fresh pepper/cucumber.

PM snack– Goldfish and cheddar block cheese.

Wee Sprout– Fresh cucumber/pepper.
