Hello!

Friends wanted to paint this morning. So that’s exactly what we did. The sensorial aspect of our experience went from feeling the paint between our fingers to in our mouth. We talked about how we put food in our mouth and not paint. Even with our mouths a little blue (Smile), our artwork turned out lovely! Friends really used all of the paper available to them today!

Sloane and Tate enjoyed some sibling bonding time on the swing while Miss Mindy and Nahla walked around to see a few butterflies!

Anna has really been grabbing for toys lately! They hold her attention and she’s enjoying the sensorial aspect of putting things in her mouth. As we know with all of our toddlers, that feeling of wanting to have anything in your mouth at anytime doesn’t go away Smile.

For breakfast, children had eggs with raisins. Lunch consisted of cheese and refried bean tortillas, mixed vegetables, and grapes. PM snack was thin rice cakes with hummus. This is one of our favorite snacks!

Have a great night!

WF Wednesday 8/20 Harmony

003

In everyday language, the big math word: symmetry, translates to harmony and equality. While we guided Wee Friends through symmetrical shapes and symmetrical Art Blobbing, they showed us another side of symmetry: Three boys. Three hugs. Three smiles. Put it all together for the ultimate symmetrical harmony: Friendship. It’s all around the Wee World.

Wee Sprouts: Cauliflower. Breakfast: Rice cakes with peanut butter and Asian pears. Lunch: Organic refried beans and cheese on whole wheat tortillas, grapes and cucumbers. Snack: Milk and Asian pears.

Good Afternoon!

Our morning started off with a lovely walk! Nora, Lucy, and Saskia bundled up with jackets. It was a little chilly as we started off but then it began to warm up.

Friends spotted a few squirrels along with a giant excavator that we stopped and watched a little bit. We also heard a lot of doggies barking! Nora let us know, “Puppies, Mindy! Puppies!”

Once we got back, we went right towards the books. Lucy sat with her brother Elliot and looked at a clock book.

Elliot and Lucy’s Nana was here for a little while this morning. We loved it that she was able to read us a few stories! Smile

This afternoon, friends partook in a little music action. Between music playing through the speakers and our musical shakers, we had some awesome music streaming throughout the house.
