Happy Monday!
The first thing I want to do is send out a HUGE thank you to Tami’s husband, Charles, and her son, Chase, for their amazing work this weekend in our backyard space ALONG with three of our awesome dads: Mark, Dan, and Kyle were a gigantic help. They essentially created a brand new garden space for us and spruced up the yard, along with a few other projects. We (and the kids!) appreciate it so much!

Mack and Evie wrote down a few items that animals and plants need to survive for their kindergarten sign in.
In K/PREK1 group, we transferred that information to a Venn Diagram with the help of our older preschoolers. The first thing they did was come up with a few items that are similar between plants and animals (water and food!).
Science: K.4.1 Observe plants and animals, describing how they are alike and how they are different.
In PREK2 group, they also worked with a Venn Diagram as they compared the physical characteristics of plants and animals.
We headed outside this morning to check out the new additions to the backyard! Children were thrilled to explore the new white sand at the top of the sandbox. We noticed right away that there were two new teeter totters in the backyard! They sure got broken in this morning
.
Enjoy a few more pictures from our outside time!
