Good Afternoon!

We started our morning exploring an interest of one of our older peers when he stated, “I really like those magnets up there…”. We talked about asking a question such as, “Can we use those magnets?”. A teacher went to the basement to gather more materials to explore this interest. Most children chose to use the magnet wand to see how many magnets they could pick up at one time.

At the art table, several children explored stencils including shape and letter stencils. Later, several children asked to do a bead bracelet. One of our kiddos eagerly said, “I’m only using Argentina colors!”.

We wrapped up the morning by taking over the building rug as we built the foam floor letter puzzle. Four boys worked together to put the puzzle together. A few friends grabbed the first letter of their name so that they could put that letter into the puzzle. We noticed that a few of the letters are very similar such as M and W as well as N and Z.

Breakfast– Chex with fresh oranges.

Lunch– Peanut butter on whole wheat flatbread, fresh grapes/banana/apple, and fresh carrots/cucumber/green beans.

PM snack– Homemade strawberry muffins with block cheddar cheese.

Wee Sprout– Fresh carrots/green beans/cucumber.
