We kicked off the week by practicing to count by 10’s! Our two kindergarteners came to complete their sign in activity that required them to write the first number. As they filled in the missing numbers, they figured out quickly that each number increased by 1, making 10, 20, 30, etc.
K.NS.1: Count to at least 100 by ones and tens.
Our PREK1 group came to sign in where they had to determine whether the noun should be singular or plural based on the context clues. All three children wrote their name under dog, since it correctly completed the sentence.
K.W.6.1a: Nouns/pronouns– Writing sentences that include singular and/or plural nouns (e.g. dog/dogs, cat/cats).
Two friends asked to make some new playdough so they helped me measure, mix the ingredients, and choose the colors!

Breakfast– Whole wheat toast with butter/cinnamon and banana.
Lunch– Whole wheat pasta with shredded turkey, fresh mango/banana/pineapple/pear, and fresh cucumber/cherry tomatoes.
PM snack– Whole milk yogurt with graham crackers.
Wee Sprout– Fresh cucumber/pepper.
