Good Afternoon!

**We have several children out who are sick. So far, the symptoms include fever, cold, and a plain icky feeling (very down, not self). Just as a reminder if you would like, here’s the link to the handbook where the illness procedure is laid out. Thanks!

Nahla, Maya, and Tate headed into the kitchen where we used Fall inspired paint colors. We talked about each color and then connected those colors when we went outside. We looked at all of the leaves that were outside on the ground.

Right when we headed out, we saw a squirrel rummaging throughout the backyard. We followed him Smile.

Maya pointed out, “Ahhh! Ahhh!” She had spotted a rollie pollie. We watched as the bug crawled from one side of the deck to another.

Saskia layed out a leaf on the ground so that the rollie pollie could have a snack!

This morning, we heard a lot of noise outside which ended up being a whole lot of rain! So, we made our own noise inside Smile. Shakers, drums, pianos, and xylophones were all available to our friends!

Happy Wednesday!

Today, we wished Miss Jessica a very Happy Birthday! We love getting to see her during naptime! Smile

IMG_0568

Maya, Lucy, and Nahla got bundled up and went off on a walk around the neighborhood. We heard dogs. We saw birds, squirrels, and leaves. Lucy motioned to Miss Mindy that she wanted a leaf.

IMG_0507

That prompted our leaf exploration as we continued our walk. Maya, Lucy, and Nahla were each given a leaf. As we walked, we talked about the color of each leaf and compared the sizes. Maya quickly found out that it’s very easy to rip a leaf. Lucy took her leaf and ripped it up until there was nothing left! Of course once our leaf was all gone, we got another Smile.

IMG_0510IMG_0512IMG_0511

We saw construction trucks that are working on the roads. Friends noticed how loud they were! As we walked back to WWF, we heard a train passing by so we stopped to watch that as well.

IMG_0513IMG_0515

Once we got back, it was off to the rocks!

IMG_0520IMG_0522

The backyard is full of leaves! Such a beautiful site!

IMG_0539IMG_0549

It was all smiles today during nap time.
